South Bay Renewal

The best architects have the power to transform an ordinary house into a home that will be loved for generations—and this renovation in Palo Alto is a perfect example. The newly redesigned kitchen is larger, more open, and features light-colored cabinets and an island ideal for sitting, snacking, and sipping. An additional family room with over-sized sliding doors and raised head heights on passage doors and windows makes a huge difference to the living spaces inside the house. Upstairs, the dark and tiny bedrooms and bathrooms are gone, thanks to new windows and clerestories. Every aspect of this remodel was done with indoor/outdoor living in mind, because when you live in the best climate in the world, it makes sense to enjoy it in your home.
