Hillside Makeover

Sometimes the smallest additions can make the largest impact. We added a modest addition to the back of this Oakland Hills home, completely reprogrammed the rest of its spaces and—boom—a flexible, modern living and work space was born. The owners, who both work at home, prioritized sustainable features and materials, resulting in stylish living that treads lightly on the planet.
