A Mediterranean Marvel

This stately Palo Alto Mediterranean home received a complete foundation-to-roof remodel, right down to the studs. The project included a compact addition that opens the kitchen to the manicured herb garden, with an exposed steel moment frame inside the room. The renovation includes its share of innovation, as well, with the installation of new photovoltaic solar panels and solar-heated hot water for domestic and hydronic radiant heat.
