Mid-Century Modern with a Twist
Mid-Century Modern is all the rage, but this 50's-era Eichler-esque rancher puts an eclectic spin on that motif. We added new finishes and a better flow to the space to better suit the needs of a family of four. Plus, the western wall of windows regularly rendered the interior of the home overheated and unlivable, but we fixed that with new, high-performance triple pane windows that eliminated the heat while preserving the view. David Stark Wilson added his typical flair to the project, including a glass skywalk above the lower level, and a stainless steel soaking tub in the primary bathroom.
