Elmwood Elegance
Working with Denise Hall Montgomery Architecture, we helped transform this aging Berkeley house into a stylish home for a family of four. Gone is the rabbit warren of spaces that cluttered the back half of the main level—replaced by a cohesive and light-filled combination of kitchen, office, family room, and deck that preserves the original character of the adjoining dining room and entry. The primary bathroom features natural lime plaster, creating a serene, understated space for rest and rejuvenation.
